About Us
Our Expertise
We opened our first garden center in 2006 because our landscape and lawn maintenance customers in northern Rensselaer County had to travel to purchase high quality plants and flowers. Our main store in Valley Falls is also the office for our landscaping company A Cut Above Lawnscapes. Our roots as a landscape design and installation business mean that we offer our customers expertise in these areas as well as quality plants and materials.

Our Plant Selection
We offer a vast selection of plants, from fruit and flowering trees, shrubs, and perennials to annual flowers, vegetables and herbs for your garden. Our inventory is updated throughout the season. We carry native plant species to help pollinators in our area.
We also take care to source plants from the best nurseries for that particular type of plant - to ensure you're getting the best for your garden and property.
All Seasons
In spring, visit us for annuals and vegetable starters, in addition to perennials, shrubs and trees.
In summer, we're your source for perennials and landscape plants.
In fall, stop in for mums and fall decor.
In winter, we have fresh Christmas trees, custom wreaths and decor.
Throughout most seasons, we offer bulk materials including topsoil, compost, mulch, stone, and more for pickup and delivery, along with bagged materials for pickup.
Inside our store, you'll find landscape and gardening accessories and tools, fertilizers and weed treatments, decor and more.
